About Ansley

Ansley Wright, M.S., earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Thomas University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia.

Ansley is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and authentic space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. Her work is trauma-informed and rooted in an attachment-based approach, helping clients explore early relational experiences while building emotional regulation, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

She specializes in working with children through play therapy and sand tray therapy, using creative and developmentally appropriate interventions to support expression, processing, and healing. Ansley integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping skills.

Ansley takes a holistic, mind-body approach to care, informed by her background as a certified fitness instructor. She values the connection between physical and emotional wellness and incorporates movement, grounding techniques, and mindful habits.

Ansley believes meaningful change happens not only within the individual, but within the family system. She partners closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance, education, and practical tools to strengthen communication, increase emotional attunement, and create a more connected and supportive home environment. Her collaborative approach empowers families to feel confident in supporting their child’s growth both in and outside of session.

Ansley feels honored to walk alongside her clients as they heal, grow, and step into their strengths.

Ansley is currently accepting clients under the supervision of Joshua Hostetter, MA, LMHC
