Renee Saleh
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
About Renee
Renee Saleh, a native Californian and New Yorker at heart, holds a master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. With a background in higher education, Renee has years of experience supporting college students as they navigate social, emotional, familial, and academic stressors. She also has a background in crisis counseling, where she used evidence-based practices in crisis care.
Before social work, she studied literature at U.C. Santa Cruz (and is a proud banana slug!) and eventually moved to New York City for a master’s program in Literary Journalism. Her background in literary journalism informs her perspective as a social worker: she is inquisitive and curious, and believes that our use of language, whether written or spoken, has the potential to be healing and therapeutic.
She hopes to create a warm, inviting space for you to explore your reasons for coming to therapy, and to support you as you take meaningful steps toward meeting your therapeutic goals. She incorporates elements of CBT, mindfulness and motivational interviewing with her clients. Renee is currently seeing clients virtually and in a hybrid format.
Renee is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern pursuing licensure in Florida.
