Chelsea is completing her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii.

Chelsea is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Chelsea believes in a holistic, whole-person approach when working with her clients. She works with common problems and concerns, including anxiety, ADHD, oppositional defiance, depression, self-esteem issues, school troubles, and family issues. Chelsea uses an integrative approach. She includes child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, yoga, and other evidence-based techniques that lead to the most effective outcome in improving children’s experiences and behaviors. Through their work together, Chelsea encourages reflection, independence, confidence, coping skills, emotional regulation, and self-worth to explore and grow in a positive direction. Chelsea’s goal is to provide the safe space and tools for children and teens to grow into joyful and successful adults. Chelsea believes in working with the family unit so parents feel supported and empowered in leading their children to happiness and purpose.

Chelsea meets each client where they are by ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and supported to be their authentic selves. In working with young adults, together they explore core beliefs, life experiences, relationships, and environments that shape the client into the person they are. Applying her holistic approach, Chelsea considers genealogy, disease, nutrition, exercise, and other factors that contribute to the whole person. Chelsea provides psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based techniques to help clients explore their inner worlds and reflect on why they engage in certain behaviors and thought patterns. Chelsea walks alongside clients toward their best self by identifying unhelpful beliefs, restructuring negative thought patterns, considering coping strategies, normalizing the human experience, and considering action steps towards positive change.
